Small but Mighty 1 is part of a series of oil paintings done by me that feature simple and endearing compositions of fruits, florals and insects on A5 canvases. Small but Mighty 7, in particular, features two artichokes. While they are usually a common vegetable they are made for excellent still-life studies.
